Sights of the Old World - June 23

Sorry for the weak amount of posts. It's not for lack of material, cause I got a ton. I just haven't found the time (lie). These are the sights/family/whatever shots from our first day. The first two are in front of our hotel in Munich. The place was stellar and Sebastian was a great host. I love that guy.

After meeting up at the hotel and hopping in the de-frank (shower), we headed to the Hirschgarten (previously mentioned in the drinking post) for lunch.

Leti wanted to go to Maria's but she was outvoted.

Not only do they have gigantic beer, they also have deer (Hirsch = deer, I just learned).

Our hotel was in the Park Slope of Munich. I guess that makes the Hirschgarten Great Lakes.

After lunch we headed to the Nymphenburg Palace.

If your not keeping track for yourself, that would make this the Aaron and Sofia's Apartment of Munich.

The palace bum.

The palace troll.

See the baby goose. I was trying to get in close for a good shot and the parents went totally nuts. Stupid gooses.

This was just inside the hunting lodge. We don't go into the actual palace until tomorrow (June 24).

Pimp my ride.

I don't know who this statue is, but I'll bet a million dollars it's either a Ludwig or a Maximilian.

Archs or Arches?

Residenztheater.

Hofbräuhaus Band. This was our first visit to the Hofbräuhaus. We didn't eat/drink anything this time, just passin' through.

Marienplatz=Times Square.

This blog stinks.

Marienplatz: i remember that, good times. anymore praha, Wien, or salzburg pics. BTW, a series of arches is better known as an arcade.
