Epicly O'dell

Camerabag.tv has a short, fun interview with Patrick O'dell. You don't know Patrick O'dell? He is one of the main reasons I started this blog in the first place.

I love the boards with his photos. The horse one is great. Which got me thinking . . .more on those stupid thoughts later.

Sorry Haters

Look, I know it's been a slow week. One reason: our camera has Santiago-smeared-avocado on it for a couple weeks and we just got it cleaned. Another: livin life. That's it. Stick with us. Watch this, one of my favorite new skaters:

Gettin' Sauced

Sunday was Man Up Texas' Gettin' Sauced event. Good time.

Santi was not unhappy that we would not feed him sauce.

Free beer too from Saint Arnold.

Win!

I promise this will not become a "baby blog." But it's all so new, so bear with us.

Well Baby, Where are You?

Today, June 1, is Sofia's due date. No baby yet. We will let you know. The blog's name is going to change as well (not the address, just the title).

Global Machuca

Visits to the blog around the world. Not very impressive. There should be a lot more visits from Mexico. Sofia, tell yr family to get with it. And four visits from Brazil???

Blogged

Sometimes people ask me what blogs I read. By sometimes I mean, they stop me in the street and say "Machuca, you are the ultimate blogger. What possible blog could you read?" And I tell them: Burnout. Duh. It represents the bizzaro Machuca. The path I almost took. Some of you may not know this, but up to the age of 22 I had tentative plans to move to California to begin my life in the skateboard industry. Obviously, I was not going to be a pro skater. I sucked too much. My idea was to move out west and make something happen. As you can see, through this blog, that did not happen. I took a different path.

Burnout chronicles the path I may have taken. Enjoy.

Bling Blang

Lotto tonight. I am winning. I ain't gonna be like all those other dopes, whose lives go to pot after they win (that's what we all say). No, seriously. Life would be grand. Simple and grand. I had this past Monday off of work. This is a peak into my post-lotto-winning-life. A day in the life of...

Clean up after breakfast. Sofia is at work of course. Remember, I won, not her.

A little grocery shopping.

Blog. I have to do some work.

Maybe have a long lunch and some brews around town.

Skate the rest of the day, before picking up Sofia.

See. Easy.

Twitter Time

To expand my web presence and to offer you more content, I have joined twitter. Twitter is like a micro blog. The four most recent posts, or twitters will appear over there in the left column. Next time you check the blog and find no new posts, fear not, look left and hopefully I have at least added a few quick twitters. If not, I must really be slacking.

Outblogged

I have not mentioned this yet, but Daniela is blogging now too. Lately, she has been outbloggin us for sure. I am like a week behind. If you wanna see what we did last week, click here.

Update-ge

Sorry again for the lack of updates to this-here-blog, but things have been somewhat busy here in the ATX. I know, I know, I’ve said that a billion times. I just got a full time job (HURRAY!) and it is taking some extra adjustment time. Remember, I’ve basically been on vacation for a year. Come on peoples. I promise to start up the flow of Machucaness, I know you must be longing for, by tomorrow at the latest.

Peace.

Long time

I know I know. We suck at blogging these days. I am going to try and get serious, but I seem to be busier here than in NYC. Quit whining, right, ok. We went to San Antonio this weekend and will have a few pics up later....and a video.

Whoops

I just deleted all my links on the left hand side of the page. Oh well. Seriously how many of you even used them anyway? One. Two. You can still click on the CafePress link and buy some awesome gear. And the Flickr link to see some insanely professional photography.

I might put up some links in the future. Probably just friends and connected blogs/sites. But not now.
