Food Fact Finding

Last week we went on a little fact finding mission for the Del Castillos. Well, that is what we called it. Basically, they just bought us dinner. But here is the full report.

We arrived at Casa de Luz.

It's located near downtown, but the grounds don't feel like it. Xanadu.

And here is the main plate. Before this we had salad and soup. You can get seconds (and probably thirds) on everything. Everything was delicious and well made. Many people on Yelp say this place is overpriced, but they are morons. It's 12 bucks or so per person for three courses (plus seconds) and drink (no beer though, boo). Plus everything is organic and whenever possible local. That shit adds up. Considering all that, Casa de Luz might be the best deal in town.
