Howard Stern is seriously the King of New York. People love him up here. Friday was his last day on terrestrial radio. There was much mayhem. We sent our roving reporter, Ernest, out to cover the event. He was supposed to write this, but we are on deadline. Sorry Ernest.
There were thousands of fans and non fans outside of Stern's building as he finished up his show. All the folks involved with the show came out and made short speeches. They then all got in that Yahoo bus and rode to Hard Rock Cafe, where the real media blitz began.
Ernest tried to get in, but was stopped. Nice try Ernest. Sorry the camera died on you. Otherwise, I'm sure there would have been much better pictures.

thanks for being such a great editor and letting me know which pictures you wanted to use so I could write some copy.
I can't believe you didn't use the Black Jesus picture or mention the Opie and Anthony fans causing trouble.
so this is what it must feel like to work at the New York Times.
Sorry kid, those pictures blew. They were all blurry. Don't worry, you'll get another shot in the future.
You try taking pictures in a crowd of thousands of dirty fat dudes pushing and shoving and yelling with a crappy camera that dies after every picture taken and see how you do.
I don't want another shot. I'm done.
