Ta me i Eireann

Went to the National Gallery today saw some great art and learned a bit about irish art/history. pretty cool. Then we met up with Stephen Slyman one of our tour guides and he drove us out to Glendalough. It's this really cool lake, made from a glacier. We had a great time. Now we are off to a pub to drink a Guinness or two.

Oh Damn

Apparently this shit is all the rage in Paris.

And the Euro has hit an all time high against the Dollar.

Maybe we should rethink our plans Sofia.

Shifood

Jason was in town this past weekend to become a monk. No, seriously.

Crepes?

Oh yeah, Anthony was here too. He wanted to get a crepe. But Sofia and I laughed and said "maybe next week in Paris, hahahahahahahhaahha!" Anthony did not laugh.

San Gennaro Festival.

Hot Bar-B-Q! That's a lot of swingin meat.

Oh, cheeeezy!

London Sprawling

Seeing this I am more pumped for London!

Skate Video Monday #24

Two of my favorite things: Sonic Youth and Skateboarding.
Video for 100% featuring the 360 flips of Jason Lee.

Are they Puerto Ricans?!?

Javier was in town last weekend for his last visit before we leave NY. We did some stuff. This was at a restaurant where Mike Chu and his Brazillian stomp band were playing. It's also where Javier might have met his future wifey. She was lovely, pissed and crazy, pissed meaning drunk. Very drunk. And very crazy.

Future Mr. Aaron Chamberlain???

We hit up the Gate too.

...when is this guy leaving...

Dos Botas

As mentioned before, we are making it a point to hit all our favorite joints on the way out of NYC. This night was Two Boots.

Quit lookin at the menu Sofi, you know you always order the fried chicken.

I can never decide. Not.

Chicken Fried Steak please!

Mu-on-tawk

While in Hamptonia, we also made it out to Montauk, which was pretty much perfect.

Except for the fact that Brian, Steve and Sofia played frisbee for about 4 hours. I only lasted about 3 throws. Boring.

Though Sofia was impressive. She did not spill a drop of that beer.

Natalie tried to get in on the action. She lasted all of five minutes.

Once I purposely through it into the rocks. Ha. Sucker.

We got a photo shoot going also.

Merry Christmas. (This will make sense in about three months).

Spear fishing didn't go to well for Brian. But he looked cool all kitted out.

"Cold, right Stewy?"

Yeah, it was damn cold.

This is turning quite bromantic...

See.

Sofia and Natalie went for piƱa coladas after the beach. Brian, Steve and I went to Orient Point (or something like that). Steve had a ferry to miss. Whoops.

Dog Days A hittin'

Yeah. Still on Labor day weekend. Brian took us fishing.

Steve was not feelin it.

Neither was Sherman.

We caught a bunch of these mollusk type things.

This dude caught a puffa'.

Later Brian fixed us up a feast.

Homeless was well impressed.

Sherman and Natalie. Over it. That dog loves a snooze fest.

Slaggin it Up

Uhhh yeah, so we are pretty behind. I can't help it. I've been training "Vegetable Lasagna" for the last week and he is killin' me. Last weekend (Labor Day) we made it out to the Hamptons for one last visit. Brian picked us up and he had this sad little dog with him.

Just kidding. His name is Sherman and he is usually pretty happy go luck, at least when he is not sleeping, which is always.

Major scentage goin on.

At Brian's we marveled at Sherman's ability to take down dogs three times his size.

And at daddy long legssssss.

Later that night Sofia and Natalie went for Mexican food.

Yummmm. Of course I got nothing. I had to suffer eating doritos and cheese-its. Just to go pick up this fool:

Yeah, ole docter McHomeless made it down too.

These things...ugh.

Backed Up

These came in the mail last week.

This was also last week. Our fourth anniversary. Sofia made us a yummy meal.

And I took her out for some fancy gin drink they have at Tempo. She has been bugging me about getting one for awhile.

But I am kind of rude and always make her drink beer. I figured one gimlet wouldn't hurt me.
